Opaline and Brass Ring Chandelier by Hammer & Moldenhawer from Louis Poulsen, 1953

Rare and important ring chandelier designed in Denmark in 1953 by Mogens Hammer & Henning Moldenhawer for Louis Poulsen. The ring is made from beautifully patinated brass and the onion-shaped shades of hand blown matte opaline glass. This design was produced in very limited numbers and is rarely seen on the market. Rewired with light fabric cord. Let us know if you want us to install even more wire to let it hang from a higher point. Rewired. Wear consistent with age and use. Very good original condition with no repairs. Brass has a beautiful deep patina, that can only be achieved by many years of wear. No chips or breaks to the glass shades. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
