Antique Old A.F. & Co Foley Brown Staffordshire Transferware Handled Jar/Vase – Aesthetic Movement C. 1880’s

This is a rare antique handled jar, sans the lid, made by Alfred Fenton & Co circa 1880. This pottery was a Stoke on Trent pottery in England, marked Staffordshire. This is made of heavy thick pottery in a creamy ivory color with a transferware design in brown, designe is a Victorian Aesthetic Movement style. This would make a lovely vase to display flowers in. This has no chips or cracks, in remarkable wonderful condition, does have some minor age darkening around the rim with a couple of small spots, please see close up photos. Measures 5″ high, 6.5″ wide, and 4.5″ deep.
