Large, hand-crafted African ceremonial drum sculpted from a single piece of indigenous wood. It features carved geometric motifs and a taut animal hide drum head secured with wooden pegs. The drum has a shapely form with slight asymmetry due to its hand-crafted nature. It is very sturdy and in good working condition with a nicely aged patina.
