19th Century Mahogany English Hutch or Bookcase Top

Add true one of a kind vintage character to an office or kitchen with this fabulous hutch. Can easily be made to sit on top of existing cabinetry bottom. Beautiful patina and craftsmanship featuring simple, shaker-like doors and hand-carved corbel accents. Adjustable interior shelfing and original, wavy antique glass on front door. Working key closure. Most likely used in a barrister’s office.

Exterior in truly wonderful condition given age and provenance. Interior shelves have more wear on them, though they are not visible from the exterior.

Orginally purchased from Old Plank Antiques in Chicago, a Chairish super seller.
