Gorgeous McGuire St. Germain lounge chair featuring a gracefully curved gondola style oak frame covered with woven rattan cane and wicker. It has a sloping back and graceful curved arms. The chair has double-sided woven panels of geometric cane topped with thick fitted loose seat cushion. This is an early 1990s vintage fabric in gold, soft ribbed corduroy. The seat is deep and extremely comfortable. It is well preserved with excellent craftsmanship in the joinery. The seat is supported by small tapered legs ending with patinated brass sabots. McGuire model number MCWS20 with a beautifully aged and desirable patina on the cane wicker. Makers plaque on bottom.
